Paul Clifford
Founder & Director
Flourish was born from a simple frustration: watching vibrant shopping centres struggle with empty space while brilliant local businesses couldn't afford traditional leases. With over 20 years of retail leadership experience at household names including Boots, Dixons Carphone (DSG), and IKEA, Paul has shaped the industry from both inside the store and at the heart of the asset.
As the driving force behind Flourish, Paul is a hands-on visionary who swaps boardrooms for high streets and spreadsheets for site visits. He founded Flourish to bridge the gap between commercial landlords seeking long-term vibrancy and ambitious brands, independent traders, and experiential operators looking for flexible space to grow.
Today, Flourish partners with the UK's leading managing agents and institutional property owners across 75+ shopping centres nationwide — transforming under-utilised mall space, promotional pitches, and vacant units into thriving commercial and community destinations.
A regular industry voice, podcast host, and REVO Board Member, Paul is passionate about sustainability, community-first placemaking, and mentoring emerging entrepreneurs — proving that when landlords and local businesses flourish together, entire town centres thrive.
